Schriever is a census-designated place (CDP) in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 5,880 at the 2000 United States Census census. It is part of the Houma, Louisiana Cane, Louisiana Cane–Thibodaux, Louisiana Houma-Bayou Cane-Thibodaux metropolitan area Statistical Area.In a new poll, 10% of people in Schriever, Louisiana have parents considering going into elder care independent living.
