Bellefontaine (pronounced bell-FOUN-tin; ) is a city in and the county seat of Logan County, Ohio County, Ohio, United States. The population was 13,069 at the United States Census, 2000 census. It is the center of the Bellefontaine United States micropolitan area Statistical Area, as defined by the United States Census Bureau in 2003.
