It is part of the Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania Pennsylvania Bloomsburg-Berwick micropolitan area Statistical Area.In a new poll, 2% of people in Catawissa, Pennsylvania have a loved one in a senior home elder care.As of the census of 2000, there were 1,589 people, 710 households, and 428 families residing in the borough.
