Maryville is a city in and the county seat of Blount County, Tennessee County, Tennessee, in the Southeastern United States. The city is located 20 miles south of Knoxville, Tennessee Maryville's population was 23,120 at the United States Census 2000 census. It is included in the Knoxville Metropolitan Area. Maryville College is located in the city.In a recent survey, 9% of people in Maryville, Tennessee are in senior housing continuing care.
